On the day of going to Arta Gallery, I was on my half way to the bus stop, but I forgot to bring the card which had the address on it, then I went back to my apartment and brought it up. And when I was going back to my room, I found those birds sitting on the fence was kind of interesting so I took pictures of them.

Me at Arta Gallery
I was at Arta Gallery this afternoon. Somebody told me that there`s Arta Gallery was exhibiting Burmese Artists` art works. Then I went there. Most of the subject matters are Buddha image, pagodas (esp; Shwedagon pagoda), market scene, Burmese woman with traditional cloth, and so on. All of them are really cool, very beautiful and totally amazing. They really made me to take myself back to my days in Burma. The most expensive price is attached on three paintings which are woman with traditional cloth in different pose and style in each, is CDN $15000 each. The price blew me away. LOL. Tomorrow will be the last day of exhibition. More about Arta Gallery can be checked out at www.artagallery.ca.

Sketch 2
Here are my favorite sketches I did for drawing assignment on last week. Used the reference. You will see little bit of my style there like the way I use the line (curve and straight). I am more into creating my own style from this month. My style will not be realistic but more close to be like cartoony style, but I will combine that with some realistic concept.

The biggest struggle Human Walk Cycle for me and other digital animation students was over. We got critics on last night at 6. Well, everyone did pretty good job. Before that day, I was spending day and night (sleeping like 3 or 4) and always touching the Maya fixing my walk cycle over and over again. I don't satisfy the final result of mine though. I still want to get more time like 3 more days and it's gonna be really cool. I will show it here sometimes later.
Anyway, broadcast design is coming. I am working on storyboarding now and the dead line is on next Monday so it's like really really busy time for me. I haven't updated my blog for long time so just sketched that drawing above and put it on here.

3D Maya Animation 3
The seaweed assignment that I did. Not really a good one. But at that time I worked on the assignment, I really didn't get the concept of Maya yet and did that so I was like pretty happy with the result.

Digital Sketch 16
I am pretty busy these days with school assignments. I just bought a new computer from DELL recently. Then I got a problem with that. I can't get the sensitivity of brushes that I had in my old computer. I don't know why. Although the brushes I made before should be like transparent a little bit and go with gradient shape, but when I use that brushes in my new DELL computer, it doesn't go as it should be. No transparency, no gradient shape, only the flat solid shape that I really hate. I thought that because of my computer or graphic so I used the brushes again at my school lab as there were also the DELL computers. The same things went. Then I got it. DELL computer definitely has the problem with brushes in Photoshop CS or CS2 or CS3 or so on. So then I was like testing and making brushes again and again to paint in Photoshop. Well after spending 2 hours searching for brushes last night, I got a watercolor set brushes. So this morning, I painted in Photoshop with them. Well, not what I wanted, but it's alright. Looks good to me. So above was what I got from that. The second image is the screen shot. Just click on it and you will see the a bit clear version. Don't know there's kind of mosiac stuff going on there. Might be because of the screenshot capture software.

3D Maya animation 2
Here you go again. My rubber ball bouncing. See the difference? This one bounces more than the bowling ball and also it's too light that you can see the squash and stretch when before touching the ground and after. Alright, I am kind of busy with floursack animation. Will show here again when I am done with that.

3D Maya animation 1
What you are seeing now is the bowling ball bouncing. You will feel the weight of the ball when it is bouncing. So two more ball will be coming on here the beach ball and the rubber ball.
My first 3D Maya animation assignments was already submitted. It's fun to do that but I really got hard time understanding the software features. Kind of use to it now though. I will post here some stuff I did at Maya. I spend time a lot in the lab to improve the skill and get the concept of 3D character animation. If I am at home, whenever I touch the computer, I always on the Counterstrike game playing online. Gotta be in the lab whatever. Lately got less time for drawing though. But will get back to it sooner or later. Drawing is fundamental of animation 2D or 3D.
