Digital Painting 5

It's a kid I met at a party when I was in Ottawa. I took a photo of him and now painted it. I was inspired by the Youtube painters that I did that. Crits welcome.

Pencil Sketch 2 (work from life)

I was out on last Friday to Dufferin Mall to sketch real people. I always do that on every Friday. It's always fun. Sometimes I get trouble with getting the right chair at the coffee shop where I always take place. It's like on last time, like I got to wait for half an hour to get the chair. Because only from that chair, I can see people clearly. I spend there for like two or three hours sketching, and then I go to the soccer field to play soccer. It's like routine. So here you go. Well, it's difficult to sketch real people because they are always moving and turning as they wish. So I need to be patient sometimes, I need to get my hand quick so as to get the life line better. I always happy with the results from that sketching. This post is also for my friend from Yangon who wants to know what sketching real people is.

Photography 2 (Portrait)

I just registered at Flickr. So I will be uploading photos there in future. Flickr is the biggest photo share website. I learn a lot from that. This is my friend A A Win's son photos. I took that in last weekends on Sunday at the soccer field. I really like that. He's so cute and he's like wondering looking at me like 'what's it' 'why's this guy pointing me such strange thing' lol. He's 6 months old now. For technical parts, I blurred the background to get the main subject more focus.

Drapery Studies 1

These are drapery studies I did for the Concept Art forum. The purpose is just to practice and to improve the skill at drawing, shaping, and seeing. It's so much fun doing those stuff. I gain the experience from that a lot. All of them were digitally painted. Except from the last one, the first and second one I drew from life directly.

Digital Sketch 10

I was hearing some people were talking about him a lot. Yeah, they like him. This one's supposed to be Han Htoo Lwin. I tried to get the essence of him in the picture. I pretty satisfy with the result especially the shading.

19th July Burmese Martyrs' Day

This is not my drawing. I saved this photo from Ma Hana blog. It's Burmese Martyrs’ Day (19th of July) today. Let’s remember our national heroes. Let their souls live in our heart forever. I saw General Aung San biography and his life is mentioned in Ma Hana’s blog.

Face Study 2

Well, some of my old studies. At that time I was experimenting with coloring. Drawing Lebron James from Cleveland whom I like best.

Photography 1

Some photos I took from the zoo. Not the image quality that I want to achieve though. My 7 MP Panasonic can't make very good images. I will get Cannon Digital SLR Rebel XT 10.1 MP pretty soon, and then I can take picture nicely. Anyway, those are animals from Toronto zoo. They seem to be bored at staying there. Lol.

Landscape Study 5

I did those landscape studies a month ago. Except for the last picture, the rest are from the photo reference. Those were my last landscape studies. I think I will do like that again.
Tommygirl : (referring to the comment at last post) Thanks for dropping by. That was Korean Barbecue restaurant. Me and my friends usually end up there on weekends. Oh, then, I will miss that Takoyaki, I don't see anything like that in Toronto, except for the Hotdog stands (they are everywhere; esp in summer, lol).
Ma Thadar: Thanks for checking in.
Frank: Thanks. I think I can send you photo of my PC desk very soon.

Me 1

Happy Canada Day!!! Long weekends this week. I can't update my blog as usual but I got some photos taken at zoo and downtown so that I can put some nice photos in next post.
Here's me. At that time I was at Korean Barbecue Restaurant with my friends. One of them took me that photo. I didn't know that. Later I found that photo on my camera, so I edited that on Photoshop CS2. I did lens correction and artistic function. Anyway, that's me, I'm eating so much!
